| Contents | ■ Main Objective The Asian Peace Science Network(APSN), JICA Research Institute (JICA-RI) and RIETI are co-organizing a symposium in Tokyo this summer on "Institution Building in Asia for Peace and Development." Given the region's diversity in religion, race, ethnicity and standard of living, Asian countries would benefit from region-wide political and economic institutions that take into account the region's potential for multidimensional conflict. APSN was formally established in 2008 under the strong initiative of Professor Walter Isard for the promotion of peace, security and economic development in Asia. This conference serves as the second annual International Conference of Asian Peace Science Network. ■ Program 13:00-13:25 Opening Introduction & Welcome Speech 13:25-15:50 Part 1 : Keynote Lectures 15:50-16:05 Break 16:05-18:20 Part2 : Panel Discussion 18:20-18:30 Closing Speech 18:30-19:30 Reception |
